Ear Balance to Expand Specialist Audiology Care with New Thomson Medical Centre Clinic in 2027

SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE, August 24, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Ear Balance, a specialist hearing and balance clinic in Singapore, is preparing to expand its clinical services with the opening of a new clinic at Thomson Medical Center in January 2027. The expansion is expected to broaden access to evidence-based audiological care, with paediatric audiology among the services planned for the new location.

Led by Dr. Kenneth Chua, Senior Principal Audiologist, Ear Balance provides specialised assessment and management for individuals experiencing hearing loss, tinnitus, dizziness, vertigo and other balance-related concerns. The clinic combines specialised diagnostic technology with personalised treatment and rehabilitation plans designed to help patients enhance hearing, communication, balance and overall quality of life.
The upcoming Thomson Medical Centre clinic marks an important milestone in Ear Balance’s continued development. The clinic has seen more than 1,000 patients for hearing and balance concerns year to date and is expecting approximately 10% year-on-year revenue growth. Having reached a stage of positive cash flow and recovered its capital expenditure since June, the business is now scaling its operations to meet growing demand for specialist hearing and vestibular services.

A key addition at the new location will be paediatric audiology services, which are planned to commence in 2027. The expansion will enable Ear Balance to support younger patients who require professional assessment and management of hearing-related concerns. Early identification of hearing difficulties can be important in supporting communication, learning and development, making accessible paediatric audiology an important extension of the clinic’s comprehensive approach.

“Our upcoming expansion at Thomson Medical Centre represents an important step for Ear Balance as we continue to grow our capacity and make specialised hearing and balance care accessible to more patients,” noted Dr. Kenneth Chua. “We are particularly pleased to introduce paediatric audiology services as part of this expansion, allowing us to extend our expertise to children and their families while maintaining our commitment to accurate diagnosis, evidence-based care and patient education,” he added.

Ear Balance’s activities also extend beyond clinical services, with Dr. Chua continuing to contribute to professional education, research and community health initiatives. On 17 October 2026, he is scheduled to speak at a hearing health awareness talk at Punggol Community Club, where he will share insights aimed at improving public understanding of hearing health.

Later in October, Dr. Chua will participate in the Sound Synergy Summit 2026, organised by WS Audiology. In November, he has been invited to attend the Politzer Society conference and meeting in Seoul as a Politzer Prize finalist, where he is expected to present his research project, “A Randomized Controlled Trial on the Efficacy of Vitamin D at Reducing Recurrence of Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo.” The research reflects the clinic’s broader involvement in carrying forward knowledge surrounding vestibular health and the management of balance disorders.

Ear Balance is also supporting community healthcare efforts internationally. From 4 to 11 October 2026, the team is scheduled to participate in a medical mission to Timor-Leste, providing assistance to residents in matters relating to ear and hearing health.

With the planned Thomson Medical Centre opening, the introduction of paediatric audiology services and continued involvement in research and community initiatives, Ear Balance is entering its next phase of growth while maintaining its focus on personalised, evidence-based hearing and balance care.
